Status

Whether every part of the repository is running.

All systems operational

The data lake and processing pipeline are running normally.

What this covers

ComponentWhat it does
Portal and public siteThe content management system (CMS) serving this page, the researcher portal and the public catalog.
Storage zonesThe secure storage areas a submitted dataset moves through, from receipt to release.
Ingestion pipelineThe automated workflow that validates, de-identifies and harmonizes each submitted batch.
Download link mintingThe service that issues short-lived, single-use download links for approved datasets.
Data APIThe data service behind the dashboards and charts.

The state at the top of this page is a single verdict across all five. Per-component states are not published: the public status feed deliberately carries only an overall state and a timestamp, so that an outage cannot be read as a map of the internal system. If you need to know which part is affected, contact the DCC.

Incident history and uptime

Not published. This page reports the current state only: past incidents are not recorded here, and no uptime percentage is calculated, because the historical samples that would have to back one are not retained. A figure invented from a single current reading would be worse than none.

For the history of a specific incident, ask the DCC.

A caveat about this page

This status page runs on the same CMS as the portal and the public site. That means it can report a problem in the data lake or the pipeline, but it cannot report a problem with itself: if the site is unreachable, so is this page.

If you cannot reach the site at all, contact the DCC directly.

The participant study site

The study site where participants enrol is a separate installation on separate infrastructure. It does not publish a status page, and an incident on either site does not imply an incident on the other.

Getting updates

There is no status mailing list. During an incident affecting your work, the DCC notifies affected researchers directly; otherwise contact us and we will tell you where things stand.
