Data freshness
Headline counts are recomputed whenever a dataset is published or withdrawn, with an hourly check as a backstop. The charts are refreshed from the data lake on the same schedule and each one carries its own "as of" stamp, so a chart that has fallen behind says so rather than looking current.
Publication counts here and on the Research page are the same number read at different moments, so a newly added publication can appear on one before the other. If they disagree for longer than an hour, something has gone wrong and we would like to know.
